Merging Visions Catalog and Pre-Order Extension

The 9th annual Merging Visions Exhibit will held at the Patterson Appleton Center for the Visual Arts, 400 E Hickory St, Denton, TX 76201. The exhibit will be free and open to the public during regular art center hours, Tuesday-Sunday afternoons. The opening reception -- also free and open to the public -- will be held on April 15th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

The deadline to pre-order our Collections VI catalogs ($25) has been extended to March 12. To pre-order your catalog, please fill out and mail in the form below:

February 20th - Denton Poets' Assembly Meeting

The Denton Poets' Assembly will meet at the Emily Fowler Public Library on Saturday, February 20th from 10 AM - noon. After calling the meeting to order and greeting visitors we will open with a discussion on final details involved with Merging Visions.

Members will read rhyme royal poems in response to J. Paul Holcomb’s lesson on the topic in January. Afterward J. Paul presented his February on writing the couplet. We plan to cap off the meeting with free-choice poetry readings by members and guests.

Recognition: We failed to mention in the January post that Bob Campbell and his wife Cheryl along with Cindy Woods volunteered to read poetry at a New Year’s Eve celebration with residents of the Good-Samaritan Society Nursing and Assisted Living Center in Denton. Thanks for volunteering Bob, Cheryl and Cindy.
