September 21st Denton Poets' Assembly Meeting Announcement

Denton Poets’ Assembly will meet on Saturday September 21st. During the meeting, members will read their terza rima stanza poems. J. Paul Holcomb announced plans to give a lesson on prose poems. Members and guests are encouraged read a free choice poems during the meeting.

On September 15th Beth Honeycutt and Celia Williamson were featured poets/authors at a special poetry reading and book signing at the First United Methodist Church in Denton. 

Denton Poets’ Assembly meets on the third Saturday of the month, 10AM - Noon at the Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland Street, Denton, TX 76201. Meetings are free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome. For more information, visit www.DentonPoetsAssembly.weebly.com

Beth Honeycutt, DPA board member, has extended an invitation to a special poetry reading and book signing on Sunday, September 15th. See details below: 
 
I would like to invite everyone to a poetry event next Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Denton. Celia Williamson and I will be the featured poets/authors at this event sponsored by the Library Committee at the church. The event is free, open to the public, and I would like to invite you all to come be the appreciative audience that you are! There will be refreshments at the end of the readings and time for book signings. Please include this event on your calendars and support more local poetry!
