Denton Poets' Assembly welcomes members and guests to our December 19th meeting at the Emily Fowler Central Library from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
After a short discussion covering chapter business,
members will read assigned poems based on "An exercise for Writer's Block" by J. Paul Holcomb during his November lesson.
Next, J. Paul will present "Poetry in Christmas Carols" for his December lesson.
We welcome guests to read a poem of their own choosing, joining our members in the reading of a free choice poem following the lesson.
DPA has enjoyed a good year and we intend to celebrate with refreshments, snacks, etc. Feel free to come join us.
