Denton Poets’ Assembly, a chapter of the Poetry Society of Texas and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, was founded in 2005 by Bonnie Allmond.
To provide a safe place in which to share, read, and learn more about poetry as a supportive and creative community.
The Denton Poets’ Assembly monthly meeting is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome.
Normally DPA meets each third Saturday of the month at the Emily Fowler branch of the Denton Public Library, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. However, due to the COVID-19 safety guidelines and the non-availability of that meeting space until the beginning of 2021, virtual meetings via ZOOM are currently being held at that same time.
If you would like to visit one of these meetings and/or join the Denton Poets’ Assembly, please contact the club president, Richard Kushmaul at email@example.com or call 704-608-9702. There is no charge to join!
Next Meeting: Online Zoom meeting: Saturday August 15, 10:00 a.m. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a link to join the meeting.
