
Denton Poet’s Assembly welcomes poets and lovers of poetry to our September 19th meeting of at the Emily Fowler Central Library from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
J. Paul Holcomb plans to deliver a lesson on “freshness” in poetry. Join us to learn so fresh ideas.
Following J. Paul’s we plan to read Ballad poems based on August lesson.
Members and guests will read a free-choice following the assigned poem. As always, we invite visitors to share their free choice poems.
We continue to submit poetry for the Merging Visions Collections poetry anthology and art catalog. This is a collaborative effort between our poets and artists from VAST, the Visual Arts Society of Texas.

In this unique three-hour workshop, poets will learn to fly from the conscious mind to the unconscious mind and back again, all within a single poem.
